1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Demoshot ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.
2. License Grant
Upon purchase, Demoshot grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on any Mac computers that you personally own or control. This is a one-time purchase — there are no recurring subscription fees. Your license includes all future updates to the Software at no additional cost.
3. Permitted Use
You may use Demoshot for both personal and commercial purposes, including:
- Creating screen recordings for any lawful purpose
- Using recordings in commercial projects, products, or marketing materials
- Installing the Software on multiple Macs that you personally own or control
4. Restrictions
You may not:
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software itself
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Remove or circumvent any licensing or copy-protection mechanisms
- Share your license key with others or use it on devices you do not own or control
5. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all recordings, videos, and other content you create using Demoshot. We claim no rights to your content. All recordings are processed and stored locally on your device — they are never uploaded to our servers.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to record the content that appears on your screen.
6. Payment & Refunds
Demoshot is available as a one-time purchase for $49 USD. All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, taxes, and payment processing.
We offer a 30-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with Demoshot, contact us at support@demoshot.app within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
7. Updates
Your purchase includes all future updates to Demoshot at no additional cost. Demoshot reserves the right to release entirely new products as separate offerings.
8. System Requirements
Demoshot requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later and an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer). We do not guarantee functionality on unsupported hardware or operating system configurations.
9. Privacy
Your use of Demoshot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Demoshot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Demoshot and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
12. Termination
Your license to use Demoshot may be terminated if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy any copies in your possession.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Demoshot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
